Bob and Karen booked me for their party to celebrate 25 years happily married, from the moment i arrived i was made to feel welcome and had a mob of people helping me unload the car as it was pouring down with rain, thanks guys!
The original plan was to have the party in a marquee that they had erected outside in the garden but mother nature had other ideas. We decided to move things into the sun room and make it a cozy shin dig which i knew would work well.
After i set up Bob made me a cup of tea and i started to DJ, people were enjoying the food that was laid out but feet were already tapping and a couple of eager party people started the dancing off.
9 o’clock and it was time for my first 45 minute set, Bob had given me a list of songs he loved from the repertoire on my website which i happily incorporated into my sets. From the first song the dance floor was heaving with everyone singing and dancing along.
There were some scottish guests so Bob insisted i play The Proclaimers and i didn’t put up any resistance! with hits from The Beatles, Stevie Wonder,Bryan Adams the party was really going for it.
I even managed to download Their first dance which was a really nice moment to set the tone of the evening.
62 encores later i had to load the car in the rain while Bob and some friends tried desperately to secure the marquee before storm Katie moved it to another garden.
Thanks for having me guys, fantastic night!
